With the rapid development of education in contemporary China,higher education undertakes the important task of cultivating senior specialized personnel,developing science,technology and culture,and promoting socialist modernization.As the backbone of the ideological and political work in Colleges and universities,college counselors are one of the educators who have an important influence on College students.As the first line of College Students’ ideological and political education counselors,helping young students to carry out world outlook,outlook on life and values of education,so that they can make a correct choice in the real world full of temptation,is the primary task and duty-bound responsibility of Ideological and political education workers in the new era.The work of college counselors is guided by the central government.The Opinions on Further Strengthening and Improving College Students’Ideological and Political Education issued by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council in October 2004 provides guidance for the construction of college counselors and lays an important foundation for the future development of College counselors.Afterwards,the counselors were defined as the organizers,implementers and instructors of the ideological and political education and management work of the college students’day in the Regulations on the Construction of Counselors’ Team in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education No.43,which was revised and passed by the 32nd Ministerial Office Meeting of the Ministry of Education.The professional and professional requirements of counselors are getting higher and higher.Career management of counselors is also a new requirement in the new era.Based on the advanced experience at home and abroad,this study takes the career management of counselors in S universities in Nanjing as the research object,and explores the new countermeasures for career management of counselors in S universities.The main body of the article is divided into three parts:introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research background and significance,research status,research ideas and methods.The main body combs the related concepts and theoretical basis of counselors’career management;investigates and analyzes the ac-tual situation and existing measures of counselors’ career management in recent years,finds out the existing problems and attributions of career management;and analyzes the professional students of counselors in Universities in western developed countries and other universities in China.The advanced management concepts and experiences of career management are sorted out,and the contents worth learning are summarized.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and ideas are put forward to strengthen the career management of counselors in S universities.The concluding remarks summarize the author’s viewpoints and look forward to the future trend of career management of University counselors. |
