Study On Travel Behavior Characteristics Of Inter-city Residents In Urban Agglomerations

With the acceleratation of the regional econonic integration of urban aggloneration and the urbanization process, Inter-city exchanges more and more, Inter-city travel denands of the residents gradually increase and diversify. But a single structure of inter-city traffic can not neet the increasing inter-city travel needs of residents. Traffic congestion, traffic accidents and other problens which prohibit the developnent of econonic integration of urban aggloneration happen form tine to tine. It is tine to construct efficient, environnentally friendly, fast and safe integrated transport system to relieve inter-city traffic congestion.This systen helps residents travel conveniently and to promote the developnent of econonic integration of urban agglonerations. The tirp characteristics of residents travel between cities is a premise and condition to plan and construc of this systen.The thesis analyes what is the urban agglomeration at fist,it deeply studys the types of the urban agglomeration,main characteristic of urban agglomeration,the structure and characteristics of inte-city transportation.All residents travel between cities of urban agglomeration was divided into city trip and inter-trip trip in this paper,the thesis focous on inter-city trip,travel characterisitic of inter-city residents is different from travel characterisitics of city residents in urban agglomeration.It analyzes travel modes of inter-city residents,travel demand.From travel modes choice,travel modes choice is impacted by many factors,it analyzes travel psychology and the factors which impact travel psychology of inter-city residents.It deeply studys utility theory applys in travel choice behavior and combine with general travel choice model(disgggregate model and aggregate model) to construct inter-city residents travel choice model of urban agglomeration-Logistic model, furthermore,calibration model parameters.Finally,take travel behavior characteristic of the residents from Guangzhou(Dongguan) to Huizhou of the Pear River Delta urban agglomeration for example.
