In our country are vigorously promote the national fitness activities, physical exercise behavior of urban residents as one of the important part of getting the attention of the governments at all levels. The steady development of the mass sports on economic growth and urbanization construction has the very big contribution. On the other hand, due to the rapid economic growth, people’s life pressure is more and more big, the quality caused a certain influence to the body, in this case, the residents should be more through physical exercise to enhance their physique, so as to better face the various pressures and challenges. Therefore, studies the physical exercise behavior of urban residents, to promote mass sports for the city put forward the direction of more clear, more targeted measures.Through the literature material method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics, logic analysis and so on physical exercise behavior of urban residents in yuncheng after investigation found that residents participate in physical exercise consciousness and behavior are improved, but there are residents exercise method is not scientific, lack of exercise field, the existing site using such problems as inadequate.Aimed at the status quo, this paper puts forward the countermeasures include: first, the government to strengthen the construction of sports venues, exercise for residents to provide more comfortable environment and conditions. Second, strengthen the construction of sports organizations, associations. Third, the residents need to change ideas, actively participate in fitness activities. Fourth, cultivate a high-quality social sports instructor team.
