Today the gap between various social strata in China's gradually expanding. And education, especially higher education is an effective way which changes their own destiny, narrow the gap and enhance their social class position. Therefore, the chance of higher education has received increasing attention. Meanwhile, with the expansion of the scale of higher education, it not only concerns equal opportunities of higher education enrollment, but also starts to pay attention to accept what type and quality of higher education. That is the problem that the equality of higher education runs through the whole process of higher education. It includes the education opportunities, a fair process and educational outcomes. In this paper, according to the three dimensions of social class, that is economic capital, cultural capital and social capital. We use these capitals and the gap between various social strata analyzing the impact to the whole process of higher education. While we deeply analyzes the reasons why the social class differences have an impact on the higher education. And we give some corresponding proposals to reduce the impact. This paper will be analyzed from the following parts:The first is the introduction; this study described the background and significance. And it introduces the domestic and foreign research results. Then propose the method of this study.Second,it is the theoretical basis. Above of all,this paper defines the main concepts, Such as equality of higher education, social class and so on. On the other hand, this article briefly describes the application of relevant theories of social stratification at home and abroad, especially Bourdieu's cultural capital theory. Then it elaborates Lucas's EMI theory. In this theory, he thinks that has achieved the equality of education number on a certain level. After this stage, it should consider the unequal of education quality. This theory laid a theoretical foundation for this paper. It explains the social class differences on the impact of the educational process and the results.Third, it describes the capital of the class having an impact on the higher education opportunities. This is a major part of the article. From the three dimensions, that is the economic capital, cultural capital and social capital analyze the impact on the enrollment opportunities, process and results of higher education. Then we have a conclusion that the vulnerable segments of society are unequal in the course of higher education. Finally, it in-depth analyze the behind reasons why the gap between various social strata have such great influence on the higher education, Such as institutional, economic and other reasons. At the same time according to these fundamental reasons, it makes some suggestions in order to solve this problem. We hope that the fundamental solution can reduce adverse impact on the equality of higher education due to the gap between social classes. And it can promote the higher education to achieve equity.
