| Home- school cooperation is of great importance to elementary education in education reform. Former researches centered on how to achieve better cooperation while the conflicts between home and school were taken only as problems in the process. With different concepts in education from the two sides, the conflicts do exist especially at the low school due to mental and physical features of the students and the gap between reality and expectation in both parents and teachers'minds. To know and understand the conflicts is the key to effective cooperation between home and school.Various reasons contribute to the conflicts in home-school cooperation. Research of the conflicts should be conducted within the social environment in which people's ideals are shaped. The approaches used in this paper include questionnaire, interview and theoretical analysis. The paper attempts to find out special features of the conflicts between parents and school in the lower primary years from the prospective of sociology. The paper is also written in hope that it can contribute to a better cooperation and answer the question of young students'that whose order and advice should be followed, parents'or teachers'. |
