Poetry teaching has always been a very important aspect of Chinese teaching in high school. In the limited time, it is necessary to achieve the new curriculum requirements about appreciation of poetry and let students love poetry, love Chinese languages, and bring up their independent learning ability. Combined with my teaching practice, through efficient poetry classroom teaching mode in high school, explore the most favorable combination point between them; push the process of teaching poetry and then get a general idea to promote the further deepening and reform of high school Chinese courses and explore an effective way for Chinese teaching.There are three parts in the body. The first part is the introduction. It states the reason or meaning for thesis choice, the current research situation, trend for the topic, the target for this research, innovation or characteristics and research method. The second part is theory and it is also the main body of this article. It is divided into three chapters.Chapter I, starting from the definition of effective classroom, it analyzes the meaning of effective poetry teaching in high school classroom and looks for its theoretical basis. Future more, it analyze its historical necessity arise and practical significance.Chapter II, from theoretical aspects, it analyzes the basis mode and requirement for effective poetry teaching in high school classroom. In this chapter, it analyzes the following aspects for effective poetry teaching in high school classroom at the beginning. That is, basic concept, basic mode and evaluation criteria. And then it focuses on analyzing the learning method, which can fully reflect the effective class spirit"Independence, cooperation, exploration". Chapter III, with luxuriant teaching practices it states the detailed teaching tactics for effective poetry teaching in high school classroom. It talks about that aspects about that, that is, how to organize the effective poetry teaching in high school classroom and how to organize the students'activities in poetry teaching classroom.The third part is the conclusion. It states that in specified teaching practice, teachers should fully play their leading roles, implement the effective classroom policy conscientiously and promote"Independence, cooperation, exploration"learning method actively.
