In recent years, popular entertainment has become essential to people's lives in a spiritual feast. In this study, the following four research questions: 1, college students watched entertainment motives have? 2, students choose to watch entertainment programs criteria? 3, college students watched entertainment programs as well as entertainment programs feel? 4 students of the entertainment program, the viewing motivation, selection criteria, the relationship between media use?For research question four, the study further proposed two hypotheses are: 1 assumption, motivated college students to watch entertainment programs, rather than choose to watch a particular standard of entertainment, correlation between the two. Hypothesis 2, students choose to watch a particular standard of entertainment, and media use, correlation between the two.The first phase of this study, conducted four focus groups interviews, collect students the motivation to watch entertainment programs, selection criteria, media use and the programs related to sensory information in order to establish Questionnaire; the second stage questionnaire survey to Chongqing University Students for the target population, and to departments for the sampling units were randomly selected from nine college students in different grades. Issued a total of 300 questionnaires, 295 copies, 288 copies of questionnaires, 7 were invalid questionnaires. Effective statistical analysis described in the questionnaire, factor analysis, correlation analysis, chi-square analysis. Survey findings are as follows:First, students watch the motives of entertainment [entertainment motivation] and [worship idols motive]; the [social ritual motives] and [information type motive] was seen as not important viewing motivation.Second, students were assessed to [agree to] the choice of standard items, with the [host] are closely related. Most students do not agree with the selection criteria to be is the [family and friends of preferences], and [their normal viewing habits].Third, the sense of entertainment is divided into two categories: one is positive about a class of denial. Most students are biased in favor of, yes, that entertainment easy, fun, fun, diversity, rich; but for entertainment is also very high proportion of negative attitude, that entertainment is so funny and too vulgar. Students can see that love-hate relationship for the entertainment. Fourth, the study hypothesis testing results are as follows: (1) viewing motives and selection criteria for both parts of present-related, of a similar nature viewing motives and selection criteria, the higher relevance. (2) host selection criteria and receive video views and ratings seniority significant relevance.
