With the accelerating process of reform and open-door policy of China, reforms in sports in our country have got a great achievement in 21st century. However, there are still some problems about the reforms in sporting education. In the universal colleges and universities, we use the manner of grade to organize the education in public elatives of sports, in order that students can learn and train base on the same level of technique and tactics. Use the method of students stratification; target stratification; teaching stratification; training stratification, etc, to improve the teaching method and carry out the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes, so that the students would improve gradually, then combine the thoughts and action of loving sports for life.Stratification is mainly predominant in this paper, we teach by the method of the stratified teaching, it will solve the phenomenon of"non-full"and"non-eat-up"efficiently, in order to fully develop each student's specialities and capabilities. Therefore students will develop in different levels and bring potential into full play to best effect.In this paper, we use the method of literature; questionnaire; logical-inference; teaching-experiment to study and experiment. We selected 32 students from the 64 students in Guanghua College of Changchun University at random as the subjects (experiment group), then selected 32 students randomly as the contrast, to verify the feasibility about the teaching stratification of badminton eletive in public universal colleges and universities through the experiment. Experiment came to the following conclusions through teaching:1. Badminton hierarchical with conventional teaching badminton option lessons really achieve people-centred, and a bit of teaching and implement the principle of "quality education" and "health is the first ideas ; badminton competition from the teaching of students struggling up, to excel in the spirit of competition, and to encourage students to" life "of sports.2. Hierarchical teaching in the ordinary course of the options for the different levels of teaching content and teaching methods of teaching method, fulfilled by the teacher is a student of the role and provided a strong, thereby improving the teaching quality, and promote and enhance the students with health and health standards.3. Use hierarchical the principle of teaching, students at different levels in study, the student body and the movement of technical level has noticeably to enhance students' confidence and pride, broaden students' perspective and innovative, challenge of capacity to exert positive effects.
