The new curriculum emphasizes the teaching process is the interactive process teacher-student contacts and joint development. Under the concept of the new curriculum, teachers should handle the relationship between the knowledge—teaching and capacity—building in the teaching process and pay attention to train the autonomy and independence of the students. This requires that teachers should be based on teaching materials in their teaching, and according to the actual study situation of the students, teachers should guide the students to present doubts, investigate questions, explore them and learn to study in practice with proper teaching design ,making learning become an active and personal process under the guidance of teachers.Teaching design of high quality and efficiency will lead students to find a new angle and a new perspective to understand the link between knowledge , understand the nature of knowledge ,create a teaching circumstance that students can actively take part in ,stimulate the learning enthusiasm of students, and train the students'abilities of mastering and applying knowledge in order to make every students be fully developed.This paper is divided into three parts, the first part is the research background and the current situation. The second part summarizes the definition, characteristics, basis aspects and methods of teaching design by the literature review. The third part is the case design. Number sequence is an important content of high school mathematics and it is a good subject of making a calculation, reasoning and doing other comprehensive trainings, and it is the intersecion of mathematical knowledge and mathematical methods and plays an important role in the study. Therefore, this paper focuses on number sequence to do research on other elements: teaching objects, teaching aims, teaching strategies, teaching evaluation to form theoretical teaching ideas, and then examine what we did in the teaching of number sequence, and conclude lessons and improve defect.I hope it can help my future teaching through the research of the teaching design of number sequence, and the exploration of high quality and efficient mathematics teaching design, and also hope I can communicate with other excellent teacherst in teaching practice to further improve the teaching design of the study, and at last we can make great progress together.
