In this study, under the guidance of new curriculum and the theory of competitive learning and cooperative learning, combining unique culture of the high school and practice of biology teaching and the characteristics and needs of students , to explore the theoretical basis and the feasibility of integrating competitive learning and cooperative learning and to build competition - cooperative learning model through literature, then carry out teaching practice. In order to improve students'interest, achievement in biological and problem-solving ability, to train students'competetion - cooperative skills and awareness, and to enable students to establish a correct view of success and failure through the use of competition - cooperative learning. The results show that students'interest and achievement in biological has markedly improved, students can compete and cooperate with each other appropriately and form a correct view of success and failure. So it is more effective and feasible than competitive learning and cooperative learning. .
