Liu Daoyu, known as President Must Cai of Wuhan University, is an extremely rich achievement pioneer in the field of modern education, is one of the leading figures in the higher education reform. His extensive experience in life, profound thinking in education, full of educational experience, not only make an indelible contribution to the development of University; has provided a wealth of educational thought for the subject development of higher education; also left many touching stories of the school, building the campus culture and heritage. Interpretation of his educational thought and practice, not only to guide our educational practice today, but also can enhance people's confidence in building world-class university.Qian Xue Sen, who passed away in late autumn, having a conversation with Prime Minister Wen Jia Bao In 2009, sends out cross-examining enlightening many times: "Why does not our school always cultivate distinguished talented person "? Distinguished talented person is important to the future of country development, ought to being taken seriously, but higher education cann't accomplishing this mission very good.We think the needing to cultivate this type talented person, key depends on that reformation of educates system, and in progress creates education. This article mainly has carried out system analysis to the creation education thought of Liu Daoyu and Wuhan university's reform, tries hard to provid the beneficial reference for the reform and the development of our country's higher education. First, this article briefly introduced the background of Liu Daoyu's education thought, analysis is mainly carries on the following three aspects:College education realistic question's triggering, the own experience and the society accumulate of Liu Daoyu, the domestic and foreign higher education's trend of development and the tidal current. Second, the thought primary coverage and the main content of Liu Dao Yu's creative education. Third, analysed Liu Dao Yu who useing the education idea,carries out reformation on Wu han university, includes two parts:First, reformation and practice of talented person training; second, is reformation and practice of science study. Last but not the least, President Must focus on the idea put forward on the current Chinese higher education reform and development of the Enlightenment.
