With the popularization of lifelong education, the study of teacher education in recent years has shifted in focus to in-service teacher training. However, pre-service teacher education lays the foundation for training high-quality teachers. Based on these ideas, this paper analyzes the pre-service education models of vocational subject teacher at secondary vocational schools in Finland, with attempt to cultivate the new channel towards the construction of double-qualified teacher in vocational education.This paper consists of four parts.In the first part, the introduction of this paper explains the significance of the subject selected and analyzes the status quo of the study on vocational teacher at secondary school in China, with general review on achievements and shortcomings in the study.The second part analyzes the status of teaching staff of secondary vocational schools in Finland. Firstly, the study introduces the types of vocational teacher at secondary vocational schools in Finland, including core subject teacher, vocational subject teacher, guidance counselor, special needs teacher and workplace instructor. Then, the study spreads out in detail, from the aspect of the structure, social status, salary, rights and duties.The third part focuses on the educational model of vocation subject teacher at secondary school in Finland, with systematic analysis from the aspect of the educational institutions, admission system, educational goal, curriculum system and qualification. In this part, much importance has been attached to the curriculum designed by vocational teacher education colleges, with an example of vocational teacher education college of Jyvaskyla polytechnic, which presents the characteristic of vocational subject teacher education in Finland.In the fourth part, some beneficial suggestions could be drawn from the study on the educational model of vocational subject teacher at secondary school in Finland, taking the status and problems of vocational teacher education at secondary schools in our country nowadays into consideration.
