Research On College Graduates' Professional Adaptability

College Graduates'professional adaptability is an important part of their social adaptability. Professional adaptability which embodies in working skills adaptation, psychological adaptation, interpersonal adaptation and environmental adaptation is the process and result of coordination and unification between individuals and professions. Professional adaptability is also an important index for measuring college graduates'professional life. Therefore, facing the severe employment situation in china, we launch the research on college graduates' professional adaptability which has a great significance.The research stands on the theoretical perspective of individual socialization,choosing sociological empirical research method,mainly using questionnaire method in data collection and literature method, case interview as supplement.The range of investigation includes government, institution and enterprise in Changsha Furong area, Yuelu area, Yuhua area, Changsha countryside and Ningxiang area.We extract 250 college graduates who work in government, institution,enterprise as investigation sample.Based on the systematical analysis of present situation, we explore that college graduates'stratum background, competitive ability, social support network which can influence their working skills adaptation, psychological adaptation,interpersonal adaptation, environmental adaptation.And based on the empirical research,some countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.The results showed that:college graduates'professional adaptability is favorable in general.Among them,the adaptation level of working skills and interpersonal relationship is higher than that of psychological adaptation and environmental adaptation;college graduates'stratum background has significant effect on the professional adaptability level; college graduates'competitive ability has significant effect on the professional adaptability level;college graduates'social support network has significant effect on the professional adaptability level.Therefore, in the process of improving college graduates' professional adaptability level,strengthening self-core competence is the precondition in improving college graduates'professional adaptability; enhancing the effectiveness of college vocational education is the crucial guarantee in improving college graduates'professional adaptability; opening up and developing social support network is an important way in improving college graduates'professional adaptability.
