Assessment has been a focus in the fields of international education. "What assessment, how assessment" has always been difficult and educators research focus of debate. "For every student's development" is the core idea of the new fundamental curriculum reformation, which requires change from the old education evaluation system that focused more on "discrimination and selection", to the new one that "focuses on individual developments",.The new curriculum reformation brought forward three elementary goals, i.e., "knowledge and skill", "process and method" and "emotion, attitude and values", that built up the target of new curriculum reformation evaluation and became the guiding ideology of educational evaluation practice.The performance evaluation from the United States and China's New Curriculum evaluation of ideas put forward coincide, to a certain extent, compensate for the deficiencies of traditional evaluation. Performance Assessment is a quality assessment method in order to evaluate students' potentials and learning ability.It emphasizes particularly on assessing the students'advanced thinking ability and the ability of using knowledge to solve actual problems.This study gets to the conclusion by using performance evaluation methods in the experimental class, and then comparing the experiment results with the contrapose class, which are set up by literature research, expert interviews, questionnaires investigation, class teaching experiment, mathematical statistics and logical analysis:(1) The performance evaluation is used in physical education, so that to integrate the teaching method by teachers, students study and the performance evaluation of student. That benifits both for teachers' teaching methods and students' learning. It is more favorable to evaluate teaching results and to achieve teaching goals.(2) Performance evaluation can be more comprehensive, timely, continuous to evaluate student learning, and it is also more objective and reasonable to appraise students study in physical education. Meanwhile, to bring the progress rate of student learning into the experimental evaluation system meets the psychological and emotional needs of students and inspires students' learning motivation, which makes students to create more positive, active and self-conscious learning attitude.(3) performance evaluation can cultivate the student positive emotional attitude and team work spirit, boost students to help each other, encourage each other to create a good learning atmosphere in a team or group.(4) Performance Assessment success in Physical Education experimental research is a reform and innovation to the traditional evaluation system and measure. It is not only beneficial to evaluation method for students' study in physical education and the means towards to diversified directions, which possesses a general instruction and reference values to the innovation and establishing corresponding assessment modes for other groups and studying in sports items.
