The education is the basis of national development, and the teacher is fundamental for education development. Normal University is the cradle of the birth of outstanding teachers, the development of senior teacher education will determine the country education forward direction and pace. With the increasingly fierce international competition and the rapid development of society, all walks of life make the sound of "professional" become louder and louder. For the national education, the specialization of teachers is inevitable trend of the teacher education development. In this context, senior teacher education in our country is facing new challenges of specialization, and it is required to cultivate the high-quality personnel which are more theoretical, practical ability and innovative.Music teaching as an important part of senior teacher education and an important means of cultivating high-quality personnel requires teachers have the ability of practice and innovation, rather than rigidly adhere to the theory and technical level. However, this is the whole issue in music education of our country and even in senior teacher education - emphasis on theoretical knowledge and learning, ignoring abilities and focus on professional skills training, lack of practical ability, and it results the knowledge of the theory and the skills which the students are learning are separate from the practice. Therefore, senior musical education should pay more attention to teaching practice, it is the first step for the students stand onto the podium successfully, it is the combination of the theory and the practice, it is the most important practical aspect of specialized pre-service education, and it can not be ignored for the students to work as a teacher. But in fact, teaching practice such an important aspect is the weakest part of music education. The quality of teaching practice is directly related to the quality of the teachers training, while the quality of teaching practice is limited by the concept, the purpose, the time, the form, the guidance teachers, and evaluation, a range of factors of teaching practice. Music education practice problems also become increasingly prominent. The author as a postgraduate student of music education and theory has followed the undergraduate students into the internship schools to make teaching practice two times, and visited all normal university's music academy in the province, made the investigation and analysis for senior musical education, in the process found the common problems of music teaching practice in many normal university. Based on this, the purpose of this article is through making analysis of the literature to get the basic conditions of music education practice in our country, and taking music department of the higher model institution in Jilin Province as a case to research, through making surveys and interviews to the students, the guidance teachers and the trainee schools to summarize and analyze the conditions and problems of music education practice in normal university and recommend countermeasures. With the increasingly fierce international competition and the rapid development of society the students stand onto the podium successfully, it is the combination of the theory and the practice of music education. The quality of teaching practice is directly related to the quality.
