A Study Of The Related Factors Of Physical Education Evaluation System

Physical culture which takes body movement as the basic means to promote physical and mental health is a kind of cultural activity aiming at improving the quality of life. From a macroscopical viewpoint, physical culture has three functions which are natural quality, structure quality and system quality. How to exert the function of sports and make it contribute to the development of an individual and the stability of society has become the focus of attention. Physical education which is considered as an important and main carrier to exert the function of sports should be taken as the central target in sports study. How to exert the full functions of sports while recognizing its properties, and how to achieve the objectives in school physical education are essential questions for discussion in physical education in schools. In order to judge whether physical education has realized its goals or not, an evaluation mechanism is required; and physical education assessment system is one such tool and carrier. Since it is a system, it should contain certain elements. Physical Education Assessment System is constituted of elements such as physical education evaluation, the evaluation of the object, evaluation tools, and evaluation environment.Physical education evaluation takes each element during the process of physical education as the object for evaluation. In the process of evaluating the elements, processes and effects of physical education, it applies a set of scientific methods. Physical education evaluation can help students and teachers make further progress, accelerate the development of school, and promote the improvement and optimization of physical education curriculum, hence to achieve value-added purposes of physical education. By a study of physical education evaluation system, the present dissertation attempts to provide a scientific, theoretical and reasonable basis for physical education evaluation in our country by revealing the basic principles of physical education and analyzing sports teaching evaluation system. Examining sports teaching evaluation system from the perspective of pedagogy and evaluation science, and finding a new way for physical education evaluation research and its practical application based on traditional assessment, this study plays an substantial role in the improvement and development of physical education evaluation theory, the establishment of status of physical education evaluation in all links of physical education, and the promotion and development of physical education. Research on physical education evaluation can greatly promote the development of appraisal theory, and thus to promote the reform of physical education and improvement teaching quality.Taking education, psychology, physical education and evaluation theory as the theoretical bases, applying research methods such as literature review, multi-level analysis, and logic analysis, the present dissertation is a study of the relative factors in physical education evaluation, aiming at revealing the principles and inherent laws of physical teaching evaluation. In this study, among many factors some relevant ones are selected such as physical education evaluation theory, objectives of physical education evaluation, analysis on the content of physical education teachers, analysis on the content of student learning assessment, analysis and processing methods of the information about physical education teaching evaluation. Based on theoretical analysis of many experts, the present dissertation also builds a theoretical foundation for the establishment of physical education evaluation system, analyzes the dimensions, contents, index and weight of physical education evaluation index system, and at the same time makes a detailed analysis of the implementation for it, and at last puts forward a proposal on the establishment of physical education evaluation system.
