| The 80s and the 90s have now grown up and entered the universities with the implementation of reform and opening up policy. But, as the main force of socialism construction, these students actually have encountered some problems when it comes to their faith. In view of the important role of faith and the particularity of university students in the society, I've decided to choose this topic. The literature analysis and research are adopted in this paper to study faith. In summary of the achievements of predecessors, the definition, the classification, the establishment, the function of faith are illustrated in the paper. With reference to the literature on the problems of faith, a more personified survey questionnaire is designed, focusing on faith cognition, faith content, faith degree, and influencing factors of the establishment of faith and several other important aspects. Six hundred college students have answered the questionnaire.The result of data analysis shows that college students'faith cognition is at the medium level while it is at a high level regarding the importance of faith. And they are hunger for faith. The investigation on faith content, however, demonstrates that our university students at present are basically at the stage of faith choice and the Marxism theory's investigation shows that college students highly buy into the Marxism theory, but their cognition degree is not high, and they do not reach the ideal. On the basis of the questionnaire analysis, the prime influencing factors for university students'faith are discussed from internal and external aspects. Finally, from the perspective of faith education, its educational mode and content, an efficient method is explored to guide university students and help them set up Marxism faith.The faith of university students is always the focus of ideological and political work in our country. The aim of this literature analysis and research is to get a clear understanding of what college students believe, what is the deciding factor for their faith, to find out the reasons for the problems in their faith, to seek out efficient ways to solve the problems and finally guide university students to set up the Marxism faith. This is a rich theoretical research in related fields of theoretical significance, for strengthening and improving ideological and political education, improving the effectiveness of the faith education and reliable successors of socialism has important practical significance. |
