Under the background of multiculturalism, there is an increasingly fierce competition between Marxism and non-Marxism in the realm of ideology. It is an important subject to occupy the ideological field by Marxism in colleges and universities in this new era.Young college teachers, as the important human resources, are the fresh troops of higher education in China.Therefore, strengthening Marxism faith education has great significance in enhancing ideological and political quality of young teachers, training eligible socialist successors, keeping the correct orientation of current schooling with Chinese characteristics and realizing the rejuvenation of Chinese nation.In recent years, though great achievements have been made on the improvement of Marxism faith education of young college teachers, there exists a tendency of weakening ideal and faith among young college teachers and insufficient Marxism faith education as well owing to the influence of globalization and the adjustment of social development.Therefore, it is critically urgent for us to conduct Marxism faith education among young college teachers in order to enhance the ideological and political work in colleges and universities, which is also our responsibility in this new age.In view of the importance and urgency of Marxism faith education among young college teachers, taking historical materialism and dialectical materialism as the basic research methods, the author of this thesis also adopts inductive and deductive methods, or vice versa. According to the research of relevant experts, scholars and authorities, through investigation and analysis, this author gives an account of the ideological resources, theoretical basis, historical experience, education state, existing problems and their reasons, in addition, some coping strategies also have been put forward to enhance Marxism faith education among young college teachers on the basis of the formational mechanism and law of faith.First of all, the author presents her research ideas and methods as well as the difficulties and innovation on the basis of the present research status. Secondly, the author states the thoughts of faith education of classical Marxist writers, the experience of traditional Chinese culture and the information of faith education in western countries. Thirdly, the author also illustrates the importance of Marxism faith education and analyzes the four-dimensional structure, namely, subject, object, mediator and environment of Marxism faith education of young college teachers, clearing the following questions, such as who will teach, the characteristics of educational objects, educational targets, educational contents, educational methods and the influence of external environment on educational effect, etc., which is the theoretical foundation of this thesis. Fourthly, dating back to the course of development of Marxism faith education among young college teachers, the author summarizes the experience of Marxism faith education from 1949 to the 18 th CPC National Congress, providing guidance for the present Marxism faith education of young college teachers. In addition, the author focuses on the great achievements made, existing problems and the relative reasons, providing clear evidence of intensifying Marxism faith education among young college teachers.Finally, starting from the four-dimensional structure and combining with the historical experience and the reality, the author sets forth suggestions on intensifying Marxism faith education among young college teachers. From the perspective of educational subject, the Party Committees in colleges and universities should take advantage of their initiative. From the perspective of educational object, young teachers’ initiative of self-education should be stimulated as per their characteristics. From the perspective of educational mediator, we should pay more attention to the innovation of the contents and methods of Marxism faith education, making full use of the capability of mediator.From the perspective of educational environment, the environment of Marxism faith education should be carefully designed so that it can be brought into full play, which will persuade young teachers silently and softly.
