| School sport is the basis for the national fitness program and Olympic glory plan. The construction of China's high-level college sports teams is an integral part of higher education, is an important aspect for colleges to found high-level universities, is an important base to train high-quality sports talents for the country, and is an important way for the healthy and sustainable development of China's competitive sports.The construction of China's high-level college sports teams is an important strategic measure on a trial basis to train sports talents through various forms, multi-channel, multi-level. In 1986, China tried to construct the first high-level college volleyball team. As of 2008, the number of pilot schools recruiting high-level volleyball players approved by the Ministry of Education reached 59. After 20 years of practice and exploration, matches such as China University Volley Association CUVA and China University Beach Volley Tournament have been created and some college volleyball teams representing Chinese university students have made outstanding achievements in the international arena, which promotes the continuous development of college volleyball sports. The college volleyball sports began to move toward commercialization and market-orientation. The function of college volleyball teams was further explored and perfected to provide experience for exploring the construction China's college volleyball team, which has become an important part of China's high-level college sports teams. However, some problems emerge with the development of the high-level college sports team, such as market downturn, funding shortage, operational difficulties, and slow level of competition and single pattern of volleyball teams. The problems have great impact on the construction of the sports teams.Adopting the research methods, such as consulting literature, surveys, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, the author conducts a survey on the 30 volleyball teams from 47 colleges which participate in the 2008-2009 National Collegiate Volleyball League and deeply and systematically analyzes the basic situation of the sports teams. This paper discusses the basic situation of the construction of China's high-level college volleyball teams and systematically analyzes the current situation of players, coaches, player training and competing, logistical support of sports teams and management mode and pattern of China's high-level college volleyball teams.Influenced by the project itself and the purpose to construct the team and other factors, the construction China's high-level college volleyball teams is still in an immature stage, after research and analysis, the followings are concluded:①Rapid development of league, but the player source for the sports teams is instable and the player quality needs to be improved;②The coach team is basically reasonable, but the team-construction system is incomplete;③The competing ability elevates quickly, but the current system is not scientific, restricting its higher development;④The input of funds has increased annually, but the source is insufficient and the logistical support system is not perfect;⑤High team construction motivation, but the management mode is inadequate and the team pattern is single.In view of this, the following measures are provided:①Perfect league system, and stabilize the player source;②Strengthen the training and selection system of coaches, and strengthen the construction of coach teams;③Further optimize the environment, and improve the learning and competing levels of the sports teams;④Stabilize the healthy development of the League, expand sources of funding and strengthen the logistical support;⑤Improve the management form and explore new team pattern; provide theoretical and practical basis for the construction and development of China's high-level college volleyball team. |
