Research On Vocational Awareness Of Moral Education In Vocational School

Vocational awareness is the mixture of the recognitions, understandings, feelings and attitudes towards the occupations from all walks of life. It is also the regulator which dominates and controls all the vocational behaviors and activities.The education on vocational awareness is good for the implementation of new moral education curriculum requirements in vocational schools and the quality education as well. Under the current severe employment situation, it is better to guide the students to employment through the education on vocational awareness so as to improve the hands-on practice and train the high-quality employees for the purpose of harmonious development of society.This study carried out a survey on the current status of vocational school students using a questionnaire which is of high reliability and validity to investigate career awareness. According to the given data, the analysis identifies the characteristics and present problems of the vocational awareness, providing a basis and support. Through the analysis, the vocational school students have a certain awareness of career employment and a relatively strong sense of entrepreneurship, but they are also short of clear vocational orientation and a scientific-rational career planning, which lead to a rather weak career awareness. Therefore, it is a priority to perform the training of the students' awareness of vocation and to enlarge the content of entrepreneurship education in a proper way so that it could truly reflect the feature.The vocational awareness education in vocational school is primarily performed in the required courses "Career Planning" and "Professional Ethics and the Law". In addition, it has much to do with the required course "Economic-Political Society" and "Philosophy and Life", as well as the selective course "Psychological Health" and part of the contents of such courses. Through careful understanding of the newly revised "Moral Education in secondary vocational school syllabus", this article gives a comprehensive and detailed analysis on the teaching content and objectives related to the vocational awareness.Vocational awareness education needs innovative teaching methods. This article lists some examples of effective teaching, combined with the characteristics of vocational education to meet the levels of student learning and the vocational training patterns by means of case study, situational teaching, field teaching, social surveys and social practice, combining the moral lessons with the vocational activities while performing the vocational training and guidance of decomposition so as to give full play of the main role of students and mobilize the enthusiasm of learning.At the international level, some developed countries have built a comprehensive theory of career education in recent years. China started late in the vocational education and have no complete and systematic theory of the arousing the awareness. Compared with the theory of the developed countries, we have been greatly inspired. Based on the foreign advanced vocational education theories and models, this article brought up the importance of early vocational awareness education, focusing on enhancing the people's concept of vocational education and forming the network of "social education - school education - home education", to strengthen the team of vocational awareness education.In short, in order to meet China's economic and social development and national career development needs, it is necessary to build a modern national education system and life-long education system. During the education reform and development in the new century, we should actively learn from the advanced experience of developed countries and promote a comprehensive training in vocational awareness education.
