Abstract/Summary:
The issue of teacher professionalization, as a core issue in teacher education, is the starting point and destination of teacher education. Studies reveal that practical reflection is the best route to teacher professionalization. As a teacher of Chinese, we should constantly reflect on teaching as well. Chinese is the carrier of thought, belief, moral, ethic; it is different from the science in text selection, and the teaching material arrangement has its own complexity and uncertainty; Its target is not that clear, and the characteristic of systematic and sequential is obscure, so the Chinese teachers need to adjust the concept, step, approach, constantly in specific teaching in order to adapt the requirement of the this subject. Based on its own complexity, we must improve the reflective ability of the Chinese teachers. The thesis starts by examining backgrounds of the North American reflective teacher education movement which has sprung up since 1980s, analyzes the Connotation of reflect, the characteristics of reflective teachers, reflective teaching theory, classroom teaching reflective practice of Chinese teachers, and finally outlines the fundamental path of how to improve reflective ability of the Chinese teachers.The thesis consists of an introduction and four parts:In the Introduction, the values and present condition, concept and approach of the study.In Part one, the rising background of the reflective teacher education movement is examined from five aspects.In Part Two, various theories of reflective teachers are probed deeply, focus on the reflective concept connotation, the reflective teachers'characteristic, three levels of the practice of reflective teachers, five dimensions which the teachers reflect, five kind of value orientations which the teachers reflect.In part three, analyzing the reflective practice of the Chinese teachers. Emphasize on the three stages of class reflect, and the four dimension of teaching reflect.In part four, focus on the analysis and summary of improving self-reflection quality path. Highlights the autobiography of a reflection, action research approach,cooperation and dialogue reflection method, network reflection on the teaching and research, academic, theoretical reflection method.
