A Probe Into Ways Of University Students' Sex Education

Sex is an intrinsic need of the existence and development of human beings, an important part of the social life of human beings, and a norm for measuring the civilization of society as well. Fettered by traditional confining thinking, sex had always been a concealed issue. With the development of society and the improvement of civilization, the degree of openness to sex has gradually been increased; there has been a diversifying tendency towards sexual values and morality. However, at the same time, the phenomenon of the blank of university students' sex education emerged. University students, whose physical development is almost mature, have started their desire for sex. Faced with numerous and complex sexual impacts, if correct guidance with regard to university students' sexual values and morality or popularization of sexual knowledge is not carried out, university students will easily get involved in anomie. This is not beneficial to the physical and psychological health and development of university students.This paper adopts empirical research method to figure out the current sexual situation and requirements for sex education of university students in Nanjing by carrying out investigations on behaviors, views, and education of sex among 368 university students in Nanjing. Results reveal that in general, university students' behaviors and views of sex accord with ethics. However, there are severe conflicts between the increase of sexual awareness and the lack of sexual knowledge, between the high degree of desire for sexual knowledge and the shortage of sex education and between sexual behaviors and traditional thinking. Based on the above, this paper illustrates the necessity of university students'sex education. It also puts forward the meaning and ways of enhancing university students'sex education, that is, based on the ways of socialized experiences of individuals, to enhance the comprehensive and effective sex education for university students by the three aspects of family, university and society in order to promote the healthy development of university students'sexual physiology and psychology. At the same time, we pay attention to the use of social work in the education of sex. By way of interfere from macro-middle-micro-scale level, we try to realize Benign Interaction among family, school,society and university student. In order to promote the efficiency of sex education, crisis Intervention is used in solving university students' psychological problems of sex and sexual-unsocial behavior.
