An Research On The Formation And Development Of The Provincial Senior Games

The 21st century is the era of population aging. Aging of the population will have an important impact on China's economic, political, social, legal, cultural or other fields and will become the economic and social development of China's major strategic issues.Since 1990s, China has gradually developed the goals with the overall national development objectives and formed the system of the attention of CPC Central Committee, the improved laws and regulations, and the improved leadership system. The activities of the senior developed quickly, symbolized by sports competition and senior games, which show the good spiritual of the old people. It has an important meaning on reality and political.Senior Games is an important form of physical activity and a lever of sports development. Although our country has not yet held a national senior games, the provinces (municipalities) of the senior games have flourished for about 20 years. However, this area has not yet attracted scholars enough attention, researchers are few. Thus, the author attempt to make an in-depth analysis of China's provincial-level senior games and background of development conditions. Also hope to take this research to promote the National Senior Games early start.Using documentary data method, the author collected various papers and made an analysis, thus came the following conclusions:(1) The senior games is formed and developed gradually under the background the aging, the attention paid by CPC Central Committee, taking an example of the international senior games, the perfect organizing basis, strong leadership, large mass basis, and widely social support.(2) Because of the specificity China's elderly population, the senior games have their own features, which is different from other people's games on organizing time, venue, sports setting, security, etc.(3) In view of the holding of national senior Games conditions are ripe, the time is proper, it is recommended for the approval of the implementation, vigorously develop.
