A Study On Moulding Personality Of Contemporary College Students

Research on personality and character education is attracting more and more attention, which is eager to be further explored. In many countries, "Personality Development" has been put in an important position in educational research and educational reform in practice. In China, with social transformation and the further deepening of education reform, people's values and behavior patterns will also change, with healthy personality and character education increasingly drawing educators' attention. However, the current status of personality development and character education of Chinese college students is not good enough to adapt to the times and talent needs.To train and shape the personality of a healthy civil will become one of the basic orientations in the education reform and development of moral education in China. "CPC Central Committee and State Council on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education," Moral Education in schools works on new and higher requirements. Educators improve education model aiming to develop young students to become pioneers in economic, political, scientific, technological, cultural and other fields, and defenders of the socialist core value system and the advanced leader in the development of ideology and culture. Healthy character education is the ground-breaking project to achieve the educational goal. Therefore, it's of theoretical significance and practical value to analyze historical development on personnel training objectives and new requirements of training model, to sum up the practice of cultivating healthy personality according to university experience to help the young students achieve the psychological personality, moral character, legal personality, which is of great help to coordinate development of the new century and new stage for the achievement of personnel training requirements, ideological and political education of university students to actively explore new ways and new methods.This paper has futher explored the current status of healthy personality education in Chinese colleges based on a survey of personality development status of college students. The author has analyzed major factors that impact college students in personality development, and put forward the principles and feasible ways to shape personality of college students, to implement character education and the overall quality of education in theoretical study and practical exploration of a certain reference value.
