Internet plays important roles in education, as in all other fields in China. Moral education, as part of education , faces challenges at the internet age. Traditional moral educational methods are not suitable to students forming outlooks of world, life, and value at the internet age. Therefore, construction of moral education for the internet age is important and urgent in middle vocational school.Using methods of generalization and synthesis and combination of theory and practice,this paper investigates problems in constructing web-affected moral education in middle vocational school. The paper is divided into five sections.The first section focuses on background and significance.The second section analyzes characteristics of the network environment, content of web-affected moral education, and impacts of network environment on moral education in middle vocational school. The impacts of network environment on moral education in middle vocational school are mainly reflected in the following aspects: (1) the network openness causes ideological confusion; (2) the anonymous network environment makes it difficult to control and manage moral education; (3) development of network technology impacts ways of traditional moral education; and (4) development of network technology complexes the process of moral education.The third section uses moral education at a middle vocational school in Qingdao as an example. Based on inside and outside resources, this section investigates and analyzes present status, main remaining problems, and causes of the problems of web-affected moral education in this school..The fourth section presents changes needed for moral education at middle vocational school under the influence of internet. In aspect of points of view,one should have the view of development, market, and actual situation. In aspect of moral content, one should strength interactions of web moral education, web self-discipline education, web main-part ideology education, and psychological quality education. In aspect of moral education worker, workers should change from traditional view to web view of moral education. In aspect of moral educational methods, multiple methods should be applied to moral education at middle vocational school. The use of blogs should be emphasized in moral teaching. In aspect of moral education evaluation, this paper uses Patelite's four-grade evaluation model to evaluate students at reactive level, learning level, behavioral level and outcome level, and tries to construct an evaluation model for web-affected moral education in middle vocational school. This paper found it necessary to combine the three aspects of society, school, and family to smoothly develop web-affected moral education. At the society level, excellent web environment should be provided for web-affected moral education. The government should increase investment in improving resources for web-affected moral education, strengthen administration of web content spreader, and promulgate civilized web culture. At the school level, schools should emphasize web-affected moral education, strengthen administration of web-affected moral education, formulate moral education administration system, and emphasize improvement of moral education resources to assure effective implementation of moral education. At the family level, families should provide guidance to child to help establish right value view of web use.The fifth section analyzes implementation content of web-affected moral education, analyzes cases of applying web resources to moral education courses by teachers, and summarizes the effectiveness of web moral education in all three aspects.The sixth section is the summary and scope.
