Modernization, urbanization, a wide range of the tide, greatly promoted in ethnic minority areas of the social, economic and cultural development, increasing the living standards of people of all ethnic groups improved, but also, objectively speaking, this process resulted in folk music culture variation of the original ecosystem, making some areas and many types of ethnic folk music and even the disappearance of a trend decline in urgent need of excavation, protection, rescue and development. However, in many minority areas, the local music culture is still in the school music education in the "fringe." How to make the folk music culture in the contemporary multi-cultural context of a more harmonious development in minority areas has become the urgent need for music education in schools to think and solve problems.In this paper, a large number of field visits and interviews with questionnaires, the context of the New Curriculum Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County in Gansu folk music culture and music education in primary and secondary schools made a comprehensive survey of the status quo, in the data, data statistics, based on areas in Tianzhu folk music heritage with the issue of music education in schools conducted in-depth analysis and thinking, pointed out the tendency in policy, teaching philosophy, teaching equipment, teaching staff, teaching materials building practical problems, and for specific regions of the nation's economic, cultural music education and teaching environment and the actual situation, to inherit and carry forward from the traditional music of ethnic minorities and cultural point of view, put forward countermeasures and suggestions of their attempt to search for music education in local schools in the preservation and promotion of folk music heritage of ideas and an effective way to .
