The author take the Xiaochong village in Sanjiao town,Jinxiu YaoAutonomous Country of Guangxi as the research case,basing on the fieldwork and literature search's foundation, the utilization of synthesisethnology, the economical anthropology and other interdisciplinarytheories and methods,This paper makes the in-depth discussion on theconsumption of Pan Yao's wedding ceremony,the fields of studieswhich in the traditional ethnology's wedding ceremony broaden, theauthor has analyzed the questions of the traditional custom of theconsumption of Pan Yao's wedding and so on which article ofconsumption and social function as well as the operation rules of weddingceremony .The wedding consumption is a symbols spending containing lotsof multi-cultural significance , it has the close relations with eachnationality's economic system, the value idea, the social structure andthe marital type. To makes the analysis deeply on the question of theprecious wedding consumption,we could get more understanding fromthe multi-aspects to the specific traditional culture and the social structureof Yao national minority,It shows the unique social institution of Yao'smarriage and the social and family roles of women played under themarriage systems. And carry on the comparision of potential with theChinese traditional concept of marriage customs and the view of women,analyzes social function which this kind of marriage system itself has. Ithas the great significance that makes the people knew that the Yaonational minority society marriage concludes in the process differentindividual and community's special consumption needs,the Yao nationalminority related conjugal family social culture standard,the Yao nationalminority society woman's authority and status,as well as carry forwardthe unique traditional culture of Yao national minority and so on.
