Purpose:Firstly,To inspect the adaptivity of Multiple Happiness Questionnaire (MHQ)in University Teachers.Secondly,to fath the features of teachers'well-being and the relationship between occupation burnout.Thirdly,to explore some counter measures to upgrade the level of university teachers' Well-being.Methods:To selecte 219 teachers from Jiangxi universities and colleges and evaluate them with MHQ and Maslach Burnout Inventory Educators Survey(MBI-ES),analyze data with SPSS 11.5 soft ware.Results:Firstly,The reliability and validity of MHQ is good and the scale suits for measuring the university teachers' well-being.Secondly.The level of total happiness of university teachers' is 5.36+1.66.Thirdly,There are significant deviation with the different sex,age,housing,schoo,subject,teaching years,professional title, annum income(meaning the salary from school).The level of female,married,having private house,science subject teachers' well-being is higher than the others.The level of above 36 yeas old teachers' well-being is higher than below 36 years old teachers'.The level of teachers' well-being from different school are followed: ordinary under-graduate unversity,independent college,vocation college.The relationship between the level of teachers' well-being and teaching age,professional title are positive correlation.The relationship between the level of teachers' well-being and annum income are not positive correlation.The level of teachers' well-being is highest,which the income is 600001-70000.Finally,there is correlated relationship between occupation burnout and well-being.Affection exhaustion and unhuman will cut down the level of teachers' well-being,the sense of achievement will promote the level of teachers' well-being.Multiple stepwise regression analysis revealed that the significance of factors which influence the total well-being of teachers are affection exhaustion and the sense of achievement.We propose strategies for improving teachers'well-being:Build favourable social environment,treat exactly talented view of university teachers.Build utility social support network,strengthen social identification.Respect the teachers' reasonable requirement,arouse their activity.Set up happy work atmosphere, establish harmonious interpersonal relationship.Cope with pressure,seek utility social support.Consummate individual's personality,mold positive quality.
