As a special ingredient of human's spiritual life, Educational affection plays an important role in the process of education. Along with deeper understanding about the meaning of education and students'need, the training objective of educational activity has gradually changed from"knowledge-based" and "intelligence-based" to"all-round development of personality". However, educational practice shows that only through the intelligent perspective, its potential will be limited. So as to fully exploit students'intelligence and access to better educational results, the idea of educational affection, which is related to an important non-intellectual factor and also of a historical origin, has been ready to give birth logically. Because of various reasons, the role of educational affection has not been thoroughly excavated and a lot of scholars have been always confused by this ancient and new topic. Full of curiosity and confidence, we'll have a desk study on educational affection, mainly from four respects and the four respects are its unique nature, structure, function and how to cultivate it.Educational affection, which exists in educational activities, shows its role through the emotions and feelings of teachers and students. It has the meaning of Bollnow's idea of"educational atmosphere", referring to interest, favorable impression and concern for teachers and students to particular objects, which will make them involved in the atmosphere and possibly be moved. It also refers to the importance for these particular objects to teachers and students, which can bring them with impetuous, excited and passionate experience of emotions. Moreover, educational affection has the meaning of van Manen's idea of"trustful sympathy". All the illuminations said above fully reflect the essence of educational affection and it has several basic natures such as adjustability, sociality and needing for right sense and so on. In fact, educational affection is so complex that it even can not be described directly.Both teachers and students participate in educational activities, which are carried out by multilateral activities around the content of education. As a result, we make an exposition of the structure of educational affection, combining with three elements of education and the three aspects are teachers'affection world, students'affection world and the world of educational content. As an important source of educational activities, teachers play a leading role in not only regulation and control of students but also guidance on educational activities. On the premise of teachers'effective guidance and regulation, educational affection will undoubtedly and fully exert its functions. First is the dynamic function, which means that educational affection can orientate teachers and students towards positive behavior and then help to improve teaching efficiency; Secondly is the regulatory function and it means that through regulation of teachers and students'acknowledge and their moral will, educational affection will promote to achieve the integrity of educational activities; Last is the harmonious function, which includes two aspects of mental harmony and harmonious relations and this indicates that educational affection is concerned about all-wave development of teachers and students.Affection exists everywhere and all the time, but educational affection is not innate. Therefore, education is concerned about affection but it not means that we should simply rely on affection. We had better to have a rational study on it, exerting its effect and cultivating positive and healthy affection for teachers and students. On the basis of the analysis of the nature, structure and functions of educational affection, we put forward that we can cultivate educational affection through four aspects, which are setting up a close and personal relationship, creating a safe educational atmosphere, putting teachers'personal fascination to good use and flexibly regulate and control affection of teachers and students. Teachers will undoubtedly play an active leading role in all aspects of these. In fact, teachers and students should be actively feed the affection of each other. Teachers should take advantage of their own affection to exercise a great influence on students'affection but this does not mean that students'affection has no effect on teachers'. At students, perhaps the most important for them is to have the courage to express their own affection to teachers. A magnetic field of interaction and mutual trust will come into being, in which educational affection is throughout the entire process of education.
