Firstly, this paper pointed out the purposes, significances, backgrounds and methods of agricultural developing strategy study, and briefly defined the concepts of agricultural vocational education, developing strategy of agricultural vocational schools and core competency. Then, taking the examples of agricultural vocational schools in Zhejiang Province as a representative of our country, the thesis showed the development achievements of agricultural vocational schools in china, including setting the ideas of talents cultivation matched with the economical and social developments, deepening reform in agricultural education, clearing the direction of running school, etc. At the same time, the paper focused on pointing out the main problems constraining agricultural vocational schools' development in china, which including external problems such as limitation of traditional concepts, lack of enrollment of students and chool-running input, the weakness of school base, as well as the internal problems, such as the restrictions of educational system, unclear objectives, single school form, narrow majors, the backward of course set, and so on. By the comprehensive analysis of current situation of agricultural vocational schools, this paper comed to the conclusion that the deficiency of core competency is the top main reason restricting agricultural vocational schools development.Aiming at the deficiency of core competency in agricultural vocational schools, this paper refered to domestic and abroad development models of agricultural vocational schools, analyzed and investigated the development strategy process and model of agricultural vocational schools combining with the characteristics of Management Science and Engineering Master. Firstly, these perspective pointed out the direction for the developmental strategy of agricultural vocational schools, from seven angles: Market Demand, Combining learning with production, Competency Based Education, Venture Education, Lifelong Education, Three Links Development Theory, Co-ordination of six Industries. Then the paper proposed the concepts of Pluralistic Development Model, Diversified Development Model, and Merger and Reorganization Development Model, and analysed characteristics and implementation paths of these models. At last, this thesis further elaborated the significance of the theory and practice of these models combined with the real exploration ways of some agricultural vocational schools.Through this research, the reorganization of the core competence and development strategy model of agricultural schools are enhanced in mind and theory. The connotation of development strategy of the agricultural vocational school is enriched and improved. The strategy development model with rich characteristics of the agricultural vocational education is set up initially. Besides, it provides useful references for the reform of agricultural vocational education system also the healthy and sustainable development of the agricultural vocational school.
