| With the reform and continuous deepening of education system, non-governmental kindergartens in rural areas have been booming, and it assumes even greater importance at early childhood stage. The quality of private kindergarteners are related to the kindergarten education and the quality of teaching, and also related to the survival and development of kindergarten, and high-quality kindergarteners is precondition that ensures the quality of kindergarten education. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practical significance to concern about the professional development of private kindergarteners.This study used the narrative research method, and selected two rural non-governmental kindergarteners from village D and village Z in Linxia city of GanSu province as research subjects. The data were collected through the on-site observation, interviews, documents, material objects and so on, and then a thorough and profound description was carried out to describe details and facts. Their professional developments were analyzed in the process of recombining the fragments into a story, with a purpose of presenting the quality of things step by step through researcher's transference interpretation.The study is divided into five parts. The first part firstly states the research questions and points out the aim and significance of the research, then reviews the relevant existing literatures, and finally introduces the thoughts and methodology of the study. In part 2, the researcher describes the process of two kindergarteners'professional growth. The researcher divides the professional developments of the subjects into five stages, namely, students'stage before working, hesitation stage before working, preparation and experience accumulation stage during the beginning of working, competent and mature stage after working and development stage after maturity period. In part 3, the factors influencing the two kindergarteners'professional developments are analyzed comprehensively and profoundly. The researchers start on the discussion from the environmental factors and internal characteristics that influencing the two kindergarteners. Environmental factors mainly include the two major points, namely the influence of environment upon personal professional growth and the personal professional growth obtained in the course of reconstructing environment. The internal characteristics mainly include strong sense of responsibility, the spirit of learning and persistence, the excellent reflection ability, the sensitivity, good ability of communicating and cooperating, and the good qualities such as tolerance. Finally the author summarizes the factors influencing two kindergarteners'professional growth as follows:1. The local government and related education department pay more attention to the education of rural non-governmental kindergartens;2. The strong support from spouse;3. The kindergarteners are conscious about the teacher-based professional development;4. The direct effects from the personality of kindergarteners;5. The harmonious culture in the kindergartens.In part 4, the researcher proposes some reflections on the basis of the current situation of non-governmental kindergarteners'professional developments in Linxia city. In part 5, the researcher reflects on this study from the shortcomings of methodology, procedures and results, and comes up with some suggestions for subsequent researchers. Key words:... |
