The relation between Language and literature and culture was drawn great attention of curriculum scholars. Studies from variety of perspectives such as study from multicultural perspective, study from cultural studies perspective have been carrying out on variety versions of Language and literature textbooks and the achievements of the studies have being played vital role in related fields of curriculum development , implementation, evaluation. This thesis will bring forward the issue of Cultural Components of the Uygur textbook Language and literature for Students of the compulsory education stage. This article will have much value in broadening the perspectives of study on minority curriculum and advancing the construction of Uygur Language and literature textbooks system.This thesis includes five parts. The first part interprets the theoretical and practical value and necessary of the study on textbooks based on the world wide cultural study and based on the domestic studies on textbooks and also based on the social reality of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and then this thesis expounds the Language and literature textbook from the view of culture. Textbook is the form of culture expressing and culture is the cores of textbook .Both of them are close. In general the relation between the Language and literature textbook and culture shows on : the textbook expresses culture, integrates culture, disseminates culture, renews and creates culture.The second part interprets the types of culture in the textbooks based on Taxonomy of culture. In the article the main types of culture includs main culture, sub-culture and times culture, and then each of them will be divided second and third time which of them includs sevsral types of culture.The third part analyses, statistics and compares the cultural content of the Uygur Language and literature textbooks.Fourth part investigats the cultural consciousness of students , teachers and textbook writers about the textbooks based on the result of textbook analyzing in order to find ,to know their evaluation, expectaion on textbooks and to explain the characteristics of cultural components of the textbooks by their own words.The last part puts forward some thinking and discussions about the cultural component of the textbooks, and propose some ideas that would be advance the reasonableness of cultural components of Uygur Language and literature textbooks.
