| With the popularization of China's higher education, the employment for college students is transformed to mode of independent-choosing, resulting in the increasing pressure on employment for college students. Job stress for college students stems from several factors of different aspects. The study on source of employment stress for college students and their corresponding resolution programs helps to understand the present situation of job stress for college students, and ease the employment pressure. At the same time, personality features have great influence on the cognition to the causes of stress and its corresponding resolution. This research conducted a questionnaire survey among 580 undergraduates to explore the relationship between the sources of employment stress with corresponding resolution programs and personality features.The survey reveals that:(1) Among the five sources of employment stress, including social factors, individual factors, major factors, family and friends factors, and school factors, the social factors give the greatest pressure.(2) In coping with stress, most of the students use the technique of solving problem, among the six ways of resolution—namely solving problem, seeking help, rationalization, self-accusation, retreat and indulging in fantasy.(3) The sources of stress and their corresponding resolution programs are different among students from different grade and different gender.(4) Students use different resolution methods when facing different sources of stress; the feeling of sources of stress and the resolution program is not the same for different students who have different personality features. |
