In the poor modern China, the ideal load bearing people who the education saves the nation was expecting. The secondary education is the junction of the primary education and the college education. In the knowledge transmission, the personality raise aspect it plays the very important role, the secondary school teachers is shouldering the heavy responsibility of "the education saves the nation". This article hopes to study in 1927-1937 among groups of secondary school teachers in Wuhan, Nanjing National Perspective from the side of a relatively stable period of rule of intellectuals in the middle and lower secondary school teachers in particular, living conditions, as well as the development of education in the situation at that time.In this article, the modern secondary school teachers in Wuhan is the object to study , from the prevailing social, economic and political aspects of a comprehensive analysis of the Nanjing national government early (1927-1937) in Wuhan this group of secondary school teachers working and living situation. First of all, do an overview of the development of secondary education in the whole country and Hubei Province of secondary school teachers, then make a simple analysis of the number of groups structure, age structure, knowledge structure and sex structure. Economic activities, through the work and the treatment of secondary school teachers, as well as the study compared with other sectors, secondary school teachers to describe the modern structure of income and consumption levels, and involve a number of secondary school teachers of social welfare and security, in-depth analysis of the basis of teacher the reasons for changes in salaries.
