This paper mainly probes the formation and development of ideological and political education philosophy of Mao Zedong as young student, its process, basis, objective, content, methods and significance. It includes four parts:The part of introduction deals with something about the research such as origin, actuality, route of the research, the innovation, problems, rule and methods.Chapter two presents the process and basis of formation and development of Mao Zedong' s ideological and political education as a young student. Thereinto, "process" went through four phases, namely, gestation, formation, development and further development and compatible with twists and turns; "Foundation" includes Mao' s absorbing in Marxist thinking of young people and the theory of traditional Chinese culture, study experience in the youth and the thought of practice activity of devoting to education, and the recognizant reflection of the class' setting off, location, effect and responsibility on the youth people.Chapter three explains the objective, content and methods of Mao' s ideological and political education as a young student .Mao hoped that young students could become the persons of all-round development in virtue, wisdom and P.E, become the workingmen with socialism consciousness and literacy and become the successor with high-minded ideas and special knowledge. At the same time, in order to improve the ideological and political consciousness of young students, Mao demanded that young students study Marxism-Leninism, the history of modern China national humiliation, hard work, diligence nation-building and discipline. Moreover, he organized them to study the workers, peasants and soldiers, take the road of social practice. In education methods, Mao put forward theory with practice, and meticulous arguing, democratic management, and the network and other educational methods with the party, the CYL organizations, schools and families pulling together.Chapter four mainly explains the importance of Mao Zedong as a young student' s ideological and political education, including positive and negative historical significance and guiding practical significance.
