The Evaluation Scale Of Young People's Adaptation Ability

Citizen's physique and health are the important signal of the nation's comprehensive power.In recent 20 years,Chinese government especially pays attention to the research on citizen's physique.Almost every five years Chinese government arranges a large scale of research on citizen's physique,which contributes a lot to the comprehension of Chinese physique and health.Because people's adaptation ability involves many subjects,it is difficult to analyze its influencing factors in quantitative ways.Therefore,former researches did not include the measurement and evaluation of the adaptation ability,which has become the weakness of physique research.Among the researches on young people's adaptation ability,college students are major subjects. Because other young groups' conditions are complicated,this kind of research needs to be strengthened.Based on Ren Hong's Theoretical Model of Adaptation Ability,two large scales of researches are made with the method of program analysis.The conclusions are as follows.1.With the analysis of structure dimension,the theoretical model of young people's adaptation ability is established.The structure dimension of people's adaptation ability is divided into three second-level indexes,which are the adaptation of natural surroundings, the adaptation of social conditions,and the adaptation of physical changes and the resistance ability of diseases.The adaptation of natural surroundings is also divided into two third-level indexes,which are the adaptation of weather changes and the resistance ability of pollution. The adaptation of social conditions is also divided into four third-level indexes,which are the adaptation of family,the adaptation of work and study,the adaptation of friends and lover,and the adaptation of other social conditions.The adaptation of physical changes and the resistance ability of diseases are also divided into two third-level indexes,which are the resistance ability of fatigue and living habits.2.The Evaluation Scale of Young People's Adaptation Ability is tested and its reliability and validity meet the measurement demands.It includes three sub-scales of the adaptation of natural surroundings,the adaptation of social conditions,and the adaptation of physical changes and the resistance ability of diseases,which consist of 23 items.It is simple and easy to be used with a low cost,so it is suitable to be used in large scale of group measurement.After some items are modified to fit with different areas,it can be spread.
