The current mental health education of university students follows the traditional pattern of negative psychology.And the main concern is the issue of students and confusion.Positive Psychology of Mental Health refers not only to reduce the psychological problems,but also to the number of positive factors.So it should focus on the development of positive mental quality.The main idea of this paper is the evaluation of college students' positive quality and the corresponding model of their mental health education.Combined with years of mental health education experience,we carry out the empirical study.By means of positive thinking psychology education and practice training to shape and nurture the positive qualities of students who are in the experimental class,make they self-adjust so as to enhance the ability of bearing and dealing with setbacks,then test the changes of their positive quality and so on.Based on the positive psychology of mental health education,we put forward some countermeasures and suggestions about the mental health education of university students.So that we can provide the theoretical and euidancial supports to mental health education of Chinese university students.First,we analyzed the contemporary university students' mental health status quo.Analyzing the test results by the UPI mental health questionnaire,the SCL-90 list of symptoms to test,and the 16PF cartel of 16 Personality Factor Test.Second,we analyzed the contemporary university students' positive quality status quo.By a questionnaire survey,we analyzed the college students' evaluation about the importance of positive quality and the quality of their own positive,the positive quality they or experts think the college students should have,the comprehensive analysis of college students' positive quality and the variance analysis about their positive quality's gender,grade,professional and students' birthplace.Third,we made an experiment intervention on the training of university students' positive quality.Through the analysis of changes includes the college students' evaluation about the importance of positive quality and self-assessment of university students positive quality,we confirmed the validity of the experiment and the feasibility to develop the college students' positive quality.Fourth,analyzing the effects on the college students' mental health quality that caused by the training of university students' positive quality.According to the analysis,it's obviously that the changes of college students'positive qualitity is directly related to their mental health.
