With the continuous development of society and economy,secondary vocational students are facing more and more pressure of study and employment.Coupled with the low evaluation of secondary vocational students by the society and the inferiority complex formed by their poor academic performance for a long time,their psychological problems are becoming more and more serious.At present,the research on the mental health of secondary vocational school students mainly focuses on the discovery and correction of mental diseases,but the excessive attention to the problems has not effectively solved the mental health problems of secondary vocational school students.From the perspective of positive psychology,this paper focuses on the positive psychological quality of secondary vocational students,to help them accurately understand themselves,accept themselves,rebuild self-confidence,maintain a healthy and positive psychological state,and lay a foundation for secondary vocational students to successfully complete their studies and achieve employment.In this paper,the M secondary vocational school students in Guangdong Province as the research object,using the methods of literature research,questionnaire,interview and observation,to carry out the M secondary vocational school students’ mental health status,positive psychological quality and students’ mental health management status survey.The results show that: there are different degrees of psychological problems in secondary vocational students,such as the decline of interest in learning,self blame and inferiority,interpersonal sensitivity and anxiety,and low professional quality.In addition,the overall development of the positive psychological quality of secondary vocational students is at the medium level,but the development of each dimension is not consistent.The three best development qualities of secondary vocational students are belief and hope quality beyond the dimension,tolerance and modesty quality of moderation dimension,and the worst development qualities are creativity quality of cognitive dimension,leadership quality of interpersonal dimension and sincerity quality of courage dimension.Compared with the national norm of high school students,secondary vocational students are higher in the dimensions of cognition,justice and moderation,but lower in the dimensions of courage,interpersonal relationship and transcendence.Correlation analysis shows that the severity of psychological problems of secondary vocational school students is negatively correlated with professional satisfaction,interpersonal support,school attention to their positive psychological quality and positive psychological quality;There is a significant negative correlation between suicidal ideation,interpersonal support and positive psychological quality of secondary vocational school students,which shows that the degree of interpersonal support and positive psychological quality of secondary vocational school students have an impact on the generation of suicidal ideation,and the more interpersonal support,the higher the level of positive psychological quality,the less suicidal ideation;There is a significant positive correlation between the positive psychological quality of secondary vocational school students and interpersonal support,school attention to their positive psychological quality.Secondary vocational school students’ mental health management has the characteristics of lack of full-time management organization,lack of professional quality of managers,one-sided management content and so on.There are four factors influencing the mental health and positive quality development of M secondary vocational school students: school,society,family and students themselves.Guided by the theory of positive psychology and humanistic management,this paper discusses the strategies to improve the mental health management of secondary vocational school students according to the problems found in the survey:establishing a mental health management center and improving the management mechanism;Establish hierarchical management system and implement hierarchical management;Improve the management content and carry out positive psychological management,including creating students’ positive psychological quality files,creating a positive psychological environment,strengthening the training of psychological adjustment skills,strengthening the development and training of positive psychological quality,and actively identifying and controlling the risk factors affecting secondary vocational students’ mental health;We should build a positive support system. |
