Russia and China are two of the world's most influential powers whether from the historical or contemporary perspective. It is obvious to us all that Higher Teacher Education played an important role in their domestic and international exchange of knowledge, political life and academic activities. The two nation's social developments attribute to both their profound historical origin and their own national cultural tradition and practical needs. As one of the composing part of historical heritage and contemporary society, Higher Teacher Education shows a lot in common and difference. Since the breakup of the Soviet Union, Russia has implemented political, economic structural reform based on comprehensive privatization, and entered the period of social transition. In 1990s, Russia reformed its basic education curriculum. All this provide both opportunities and challenges for Russia's Higher Teacher Education.The paper adopted the method of documents, content analysis and comparison. Through the analysis of"Higher Vocational Education State Education Standards"promulgated in 1994, 2000, and 2005, and from the perspective of reforming background, guiding ideology, objectives, path, content, security and others, the author analyzed and described in detail the curriculum reform of Russia's Higher Teacher Education, revealed profoundly all the influencing factors of curriculum reform, concluded valuable experiences of Russia's Higher Teacher Education for reference, pointed out the problems facing Russia's Higher Teacher Education and put forward some advice for reform according to the current situation of our country's Higher Teacher Education curriculum.
