In this study, under the guidance of the theory of Suzhou sericultural culture, school- based curriculum and research study, combining unique culture of the high school and practice of biology teaching and the characteristics and needs of students , to develop the high school biology school- based curriculum under the background of Suzhou sericultural culture. This study includes environmental analysis, course goal setting, the course content selecting, specific curriculum implementation, evaluation of the curriculum. At the basis of the compulsory biology content ,this study in order to make the students return to the real life world-suzhou, to through the research study to seek the knowledge to build personal understanding, to create a rich character of school culture, to improve the students' creative spirit and practical ability. The results show that the high school biology school- based curriculum under the background of Suzhou sericultural culture can achieve a good goal that students' Suzhou sericultural cultural knowledge has significantly increased, the research study ability has markedly improved and the biological interest in learning has increased. So it is effective and feasible.
