The Study Of Student Mobility In The Process Of European Higher Education Integration

European higher education student mobility is a phenomenon worth being paid attention to in today's Europe.The phenomenon has existed in ancient time,but in the context of European higher education integration,university student mobility becomes more frequent and plays a more important role to the deepening of the integration and the development of the whole European society.Europe has a long history and many countries.Most countries have small size and population as well as limited resource.In this situation,if a country wants to have high level education,it must make up for its deficiency by learning from the strong points of other countries' education and improve the communication and cooperation.So,as an important way,promoting university students' non-barrier mobility in Europe is indispensable for strengthening these countries' educational cooperation.Besides,European countries' regional closeness and tight cultural relation also create possibility and convenient condition for their strengthening cooperation,which makes university student mobility possible.Though our country's size is nearly the same with Europe's,the cultural differences among different regions are less than European countries'.However,the student mobility among our country's universities is much more difficult than Europe's,and the scale of the mobility is not big.In our country,universities are separated.Once a student enters a university,he\she can only complete his\her higher education in this university and not can move to another university to complete his\her studying,which has enormously limited students' eyeshot,hindered the cultural communication among universities and regions.So, we must learn European advanced experiences,encourage university student mobility in our country,and realize higher education's coordination among different regions.Meanwhile,we also have to face up to the difficulties and problems in the process of promoting European university student mobility,assimilate lessons to guard against the disadvantages which may appear in our country's promoting higher education student mobility.This paper mainly uses document method and history method to study,and its content has six parts:the first part is the introduction,including six aspects such as problem posing, the study's objective and meaning,relative literature summary,definition of basic concepts, studying methods and the paper's creative points;the second part introduces the history and current situation of European student mobility;the third part mainly analyzes the relationship between European higher university student mobility and European higher education integration from the view of policy and economy,law,culture and education;the forth part discusses the rational bases of European higher university student mobility,mainly including the economic and professional rational base as well as the cultural and citizen rational base; the fifth part introduces EU and its member states' measures of promoting student mobility, such as making EU educational cooperation programs,introducing the ECTS,promoting the Bologna process and working hard to realize the mutual recognition of qualifications;the sixth part uncovers the obstacles in the process of European higher education student mobility, mainly displaying in the TEC as the EU educational activities' legal base having disadvantages,the concept of the guiding principle on the aspect of EU educational cooperation and training——constructing the European dimension in education being unclear, student mobility's economic support being not enough,the management being unsatisfied,the implementation of the ECTS having problems,introducing the 3-5-8 new degree system and realizing different qualifications mutually having difficulties,the process of student mobility existing language problems and cultural obstacles.In short,though promoting university student mobility is very meaningful to the whole Europe and EU and its member states also have done much work for it,we can't neglect the obstacles and problems in the process of university student mobility.So,facing this problem, we must not only realize its important meanings,but also pay attention to its difficulties and problems and positively assimilate experiences and lessons in European student mobility embarking from our country's reality to let our country's higher education student mobility develop better.
