The school-based curriculum is the curriculum set out by a school independently but within the limits of the country's curriculum framework.School-based curriculum development is to develop the curriculum taking the school as the base. It means the school could design and develop its curriculum in varying degrees or at all levels according to its own educational philosophy. That can overcome those defects in the application of a single national curriculum and in the meantime, adapt to the educational development and curriculum reform. The school-based history curriculum is characterized by the development and use of curriculum resources, and by the teachers creatively carrying out a variety of historical learning activities to improve the students'ability of history and historical literacy. The local culture is the kind featured by its culture and history. It's an important resource for school-based history curriculum. According to the preliminary analysis and assessment on the native cultural resources in this region and the way the students mastering knowledge of local culture, a school-based history curriculum—" The Seven Decades of Changchun Movies" was developed. This thesis is on this school curriculum and more systematically introduces the first attempts of the curriculum developers made to develop and implement this school-based curriculum.
