Under the instruction of constructivism, information technologies can create good learning environment for the instruction of analytic geometry, which can enable students become the main body in learning, truly realize autonomy, exploring, cooperation in study, and make life-long education and socialized education possible. In addition, the usage of information technology in teaching can greatly stimulate the leaning motivation of students and cultivate their creativity and develop their practical abilities. The integration of information technology and analytic geometry instruction should not be limited at the level of tools and it should realize the total reform of analytic geometry instruction through establishing new teaching mode on the basis of exploring teaching designs and teaching strategies.The paper analyzes thoroughly the key points of analytic geometry instruction in the environment of information technology, such as teaching mode, diagnosis of integrating points, theoretical foundation of integration, integrating mode and relevant software. Through the process research and method research on the integration of information technology and analytic geometry instruction, the paper provides teaching modes and cases of analytic geometry instruction in the environment of information technology.
