Plane geometry is an important teaching content in junior high school mathematics. In the process of plane geometry teaching, how do the students break through geometric thinking, how do teachers cultivate and develop students’ thinking ability, how do teachers integrate information technology and mathematics discipline under the general background of information education, how do teachers expand the classroom teaching of plane geometry using effective teaching strategies? These are problems with great research value which require rapid solutions. The paper aims to suggest the author’s own answers for these questions through the author’s own research and practice, as a high school teacher’s point of view.The paper mainly employs three research methods:the literature method, the interview method and the example method. It does a deep research in plane geometry teaching strategy under the background of the information technology, which mainly contains the following three research contents.Firstly, the article analyses and summarizes the characteristics of middle school students’ geometrical thinking by deep understanding and research on high school students. It points out the obstacles of middle school students’ geometrical thinking, and it explores the corresponding strategy of overcoming the obstacles in geometrical thinking. I hope this article can help students break through geometrical thinking obstacles, cultivate the students’ self-confidence on geometry study, stimulate students in the study of plane geometry.Secondly, this article sums up the characteristics of the effective classroom through the effective classroom. And it also explores corresponding strategies of the effective classroom, the plane geometry teaching strategies under the background of information technology, and the teaching strategies of the integrated plane geometry from the Angle of mathematics classroom. I want to help mathematics teachers solve the problems in plane geometry teaching process and improve the efficiency of plane geometry teaching, thus improving students’ mathematical ability, and helping students master the thinking method and skills of the Comprehensive problems on plane geometry, improving students’ test scores and exercising students’ thinking ability.Finally, based on the teaching strategies suggested by this paper, the article summarizes the micro class design of The triangle inside and theorem, the teaching design of the concept of plane geometry teaching "diamond", the teaching design of the nature of the quadrilateral plane geometry theorem teaching, and the teaching design of the plane geometry comprehensive topic teaching circle and the internal and external Angle bisector.
