The high school athletics is the important path that carries out education and develop an overall development person with ability, and it is the most important and decisive middle link in the whole life athletics. With the promulgation of《Instruction outline for national athletics course teaching in common high school》in 2002, an athletics course reform starts all-around.The PE reform has got new views and choices under the guidelines of "all-round education", "life—long education" and"Health First". The practicing of new PE courses provides vast opportunities for teachers to make innovations by replacing the aim-oriented traditional PE with health-oriented new education, which focuses on the overall and sustainable development of the students and new educating systems are also formed accordingly.According to the basic concepts of the new physical education, the latest PE reform emphasizes to change students' learning process from forced acceptance to active participation and research. During this kind of process, students can develop their abilities of information collection and processing, new knowledge acquisition, problem analyzing and solving and communication and cooperation. Whereby, a new and effective training mode of "Procedure—Cooperation"is formed. This thesis, by respectively borrowing certain parts from theories of procedure education and cooperative study, aims to form a teaching mode of "Procedure—Cooperation"and has put the mode into the teaching of dance sports technique for a field test. Subjects for this research are common students in Huanggang normal College. Several research methods like bibliographic method, questionnaire method and teaching test methods have been used in this study. This research mainly studied the influences that the "Procedure—Cooperation" teaching mode can apply to the dance sports technique, students' exercise motive and the group collaboration, in the hope to give more guidance and directions to the dance sports education.By sorting out and analyzing the results of the teaching test, the following conclusions file made:1.In the dance sports course technique teaching, with the implementation of "procedure - cooperation" teaching mode, the scores of basic skills of dance sports are higher than those of the students taught in a traditional way. The fact proves that the "procedure - cooperation" teaching mode is more effective than the conventional ones. In colleges and universities, the use of "procedure - cooperation" teaching mode in dance sports course is practical.2.If reasonable teaching targets, strategies and ways of group cooperation are fixed, the mode can help students learn and master the technique as well as enhance students' interest and enthusiasm.3.The heterogeneous grouping and the cooperative strategy within group of "procedure -cooperation" teaching mode can improve students' social communicative ability and their motivation for academic achievement. In a return, they also have a positive impact on the study and master of dance sports techniques.4. "Procedure—Cooperation"teaching mode is adapted to the teaching reform in common high school. The new pattern teaching mode is put forward by health PE, life-long education and principal part education. The life -long body education is the subject of teaching mode. The target of the mode is to enhance the sports ability of students, to enhance the level of students' health, to found life-long PE foundation. "Procedure—Cooperation"teaching mode has independent and stable operate procedure.
