Researching On The Status Quo And Strategy Of Moral Education In PE Teaching In The Universities Of Hubei Province

Decision on deepening the educational reform and advancing quality-oriented education in an all-round way of the State Council of Central Committee of the Communist Party of China point out that: "should improve the method of moral education, imply moral education in every teaching, should strengthen the connection with student's life, social work and school moral education, pay attention to the actual effect, overcome the inclination of formalism." So we should excavate the intension of moral education and mix moral education with every discipline teaching.The sports activity is the best carrier of the moral education, and the best platform where students can personally experience the moral education. But for a long time, the PE (physical education) teacher pays too much attention on the training for the basic technology of sports and improvement of body constitution, having ignored moral education to students. The student's recognition to PE was not full either; think that the sport activity just improves the health. They do not know sports are a synthesis education that can combine intelligence, physique, will and spirit together. So, it is very important to stress the moral education, pay more attention to the moral education in PEThis text surveys current situation of moral education in PE teaching of Hubei universities. And we find that there are the following problems in implying the moral education with the PE teaching: firstly, the PE teachers' moral consciousness is not enough; secondly, the moral education method is simpler, teachers take preach as the core and have ignored the students' entity; thirdly, the college gives few attention, the morality evaluation system is not completed.To these questions, I have put forward the strategies of strengthening the moral education in the physical education: firstly, strengthen the teachers' idea of giving full play to the moral education to take advantage of the moral education in PE; secondly, respect student's subject status, select the content of physical education; thirdly, optimize the moral method, guarantee the moral actual effect; fourthly, perfect morality evaluation system of teachers' ethics and appraise system of students' morality.The purpose of this study is to let the function of moral education in PE teaching be fulfilled. Stimulate the students' enthusiasm and initiative and let the students can personally experience moral education in PE teaching and really realize the importance of PE teaching in real life. And let the students pay more attention to take part in sports. And thus the students will be well-developed in an all-round way.
