Special curriculum of aerobics has been held wildly in physical education college and universities,facing the reformation and development trend of physical education in our country's colleges and universities,how about the status quo of special curriculum of aerobics in physical education college and universities? What problems existed? How to improve and bring up gymnastic staff with high quality and improve teaching quality? All of above makes up the emphases of special curriculum reformation.So,it is significant to study the problem and strategy for special curriculum of aerobics held by physical education professionals in physical education college and universities.According to investigating literatures,questionnaires and mathematical statistics,this paper analyzed and studied systematically and scientifically on the teaching status quo of special curriculum of aerobics held by physical education professionals in 10 representative Chinese physical education college and universities.Based on the results of investigation among 60 teachers and 500 students, the conclusions were:(1) According to curriculum goal,in our country's colleges and universities,it paid more attention to cultivate specialty knowledge and ability,but ignored the cultivating of individual's gymnastic attitude,mentality and esthetic sentiment.(2) According to curriculum content,it emphasized teaching ability and training ability,but ignored leading students to integrate human's health knowledge with aerobics,it wasn't enough to band various knowledge together.According to practice content,the typical content of exercising criterion for public>and<compulsory exercise for ranking player>play an important role,but popular content such as hip-hop,yoga and Latin aerobics had much low proportion.(3) At present,traditional teaching methods played a primary role in every physical education institute,that is,teacher taught and gave demonstration,students practice,teaching lay particular stress on indoctrinization,but heuristic and exploring methods of teaching were inadequate. (4) According to student's examine system,theory grade,technique grade,ability grade and ordinary grade built up the main part of student's examine system,but it was lack of evaluation for attitude,psychology and adaption of society. According to student's examine method,there was only teacher's evaluation for students,but nothing for studengt's self-evaluation and evaluation for each other.(5) According to teachers structure,the age structure was appropriate,the innovative ability was quite good,but the teachers who possessed high rank and high degree were not very common.In conclusion,combined modern teaching theory with the developing and reforming trend of nowdays physical education curriculum,based on surveying the status quo and investigating results of special curriculum of aerobics held by physical education professionals,this paper gave advices and strategies on teaching idea, teaching goal,teaching content,teaching method and teachers structure.
