With the development of science and technology, knowledge and information update faster and faster, which requires citizens of every society must be able to keep abreast of independent study to update knowledge and skills to adapt to social development, improve their lives. School education, therefore, should not resort to using as the main mission of imparting knowledge, but put the development of the learning ability of students, especially the self-regulated learning ability as an important objective. In this paper, combining the characteristics of chemical disciplines, defines the meaning of the ability to learn the chemical and its components, research on the status quo of current secondary school students′the capacity of studying the chemical, and to explore the chemistry teaching at school how to enhance self- regulated learning ability of students through guide students to writing learning log. The full text of the seven parts. In the first part we propose the problem. Easyly introduce the need for culturing students′self-regulated learning ability, and an overview of domestic self-regulated learning theory and practice of research.Part II presents the purpose, mission and methods of this study. The third part of the theoretical basis for this study. First, we overview point of view of different theories about self-regulated learning. Then, we elaborate the contact between learning motivation, cognitive strategies, metacognitive monitoring, problem-solving strategies and self-regulated learning.Part IV is the theoretical basis and ideas for research. First of all, described the theoretical basis of this study - the theory of constructivism with different inclinations, the basic point of view and proposed a constructivist theory of self-regulated learning ability students revelation. Then put forward a theoretical concept of this study and define the meaning of the self-regulated learning, the self-regulated learning ability and build the structure of the theoretical model of the self-regulated learning ability.Part V is the investigation of secondary school students′self-regulated learning ability of chemical. First of all, through a larger sample survey, the current middle school students come to study the chemical autonomous higher overall level of ability, but with the higher grade, showing a highly significant decrease. And, through path analysis of the study at their own ability to constitute the three factors, the importance of metacognitive monitoring the largest followed by intrinsic motivation, cognitive strategy to minimize the importance of conclusions.Part VI is the teaching experiment ,which train students′self-regulated learning ability by writing learning log. We have chosen one class of the Jinan High-school as experimental subjects for half a semester teaching experiment. Through the situation of the log that students write, the evaluation of students about the learning log, as well as interviews with six students, we known that most students accept the learning log. However, a questionnaire survey experimental classes and control classes in the capacity of self-regulated learning showed that the experimental class and control class level of self-study there were no significant differences. This may be related to experiments and other reasons related to lack of time. The seventh part is deficiency and prospects. Point out the existence of deficiency, and demonstrate a clear direction to follow-up study. .
