The preschool education enterprise is the foundation of basic education, relates to the growth of child, family happiness and the development of society in the future. The preschool teachers are the founders of education. The preschool teacher takes as special groups in the teacher professional staff, is withstanding a bigger professional risk and pressure in social economy's reforming time. Particularly the private kindergartens neglect laws of education and the labor characteristics of preschool teachers in the pursuing of economic interest's process exist the phenomenon of sacrificing the teacher's vital interest. How is preschool teacher's living situation? How is the vocational feeling? What worry do the preschool teacher have from the heart, and which anticipate do they also have? These questions should arouse our interest.This research utilized literature, questionnaire, and the interview to study preschool teachers'living situation in Dalian. There are six parts in this thesis. The first part elucidates the reason why selecting this subject, analyzes the status of this field and introduces the methods used in this research; the second part investigates the living condition of preschool teacher in Dalian; the third analyzes the possible reasons lead to the living situation of preschool teacher; the fourth part analyzes the effect which living condition of preschool teacher occurs; the fifth part makes some considerations and provides some suggestions ; At last draws conclusions:1. Wage level of public kindergarten is much higher than private kindergarten in Dalian. Nevertheless, the preschool teachers'incomes are fairly stable, but the welfare of preschool teachers should be improved.2. Preschool teacher's work is too long, intensity, overloaded, and additional work more cumbersome.3. The pressures of preschool teachers mainly come from kindergarten teaching evaluation, management of child care, parents and curriculum reform.4. The majority of preschool teachers resist on the importance of teacher training, The fact that the power of education in private kindergarten do not have any protection, training is becoming a major challenge.5. Social changes brought on the new requirements and high expectations for preschool teachers, and these are contradictions with low recognition of preschool teachers.6. The colleagues'relations in preschool teachers are very cordial, the management of kindergartens is human.7. The statistical results we can see: Only 5.7 percent of preschool teachers are still very pessimistic and 56.6 percent of preschool teachers are very optimistic in the future. even though no preschool teachers choose their social status, respected, but nearly 60 percent of preschool teachers think that the social status of this occupation has increased in recent years.The author hope that through representing the preschool teacher's real living situation, causing the society to concern the quality of preschool teachers'life, paying attention to their present living situation and the inner world of preschool teachers, thus seeking for the chance for improving their life quality .
