A Research On Position Of Continuing Education In General Universities

Over the years, continuing education in general universities of our country has been cultivated a large number of professionals, and promoted the popularization of higher education, become an important component of higher education and general universities serving the society and an important window for general universities continue to be duty-bound education system of long-life education and the construction of the main force. Continuing education in general universities at the ecological park in the sustained and healthy development is inseparable from the scientific, accurate and reasonable position, which general universities are the basis for continuing education, the schools play the role of norms and constraints, is related to the future and destiny of continuing education in general universities.In this research, the implementation of the undergraduate education as the research object, the analysis of continuing education in general universities based on the status quo position, the writer uses literature research methods, case studies and comparative study of methods for continuing education in general universities ought to be the position research, and builds a comprehensive system on position of continuing education in general universities.The article is divided into four parts, the first part illustrates the concept of the re-interpretation of continuing education in general universities related to the concept on position for this article laid the foundation for the study .The second part analyzes the development of the status quo of continuing education in general universities, pointing out that continuing education in general universities have made the achievements, at the same time continuing education in general universities in our country because of its late start, the convergence of a single orientation, positioning confusion the lack of personality and characteristics, is still not meet the rapidly changing situation and the needs of modernization, strengthening research on position of continuing education in general universities is imperative. To the scientific concept of development as the guiding ideology, the writer describes a macroscopic (to build a learning society, and actively adapt to the political economic and cultural development, service industries and places, etc.), central (position of talent training aim, position of school-level, position of school-type, etc.) and microscopic (position of service object, position of the form of teaching, position of characteristics subjects, etc.) positions on continuing education in general universities in our country at three levels, continues to make a new integrated concept, and designs a new positioning system of continuing education in general universities assisting with the real diagnosis.
